YOU GO GIRL

Hello everyone!  I have a layout for you today using some Echo Park & Crate Paper! I even threw in a piece of Simple Stories Emoji Chipboard!  I used the Summer Fun line from Echo Park and I love that you can use it for non summery pictures!  That car paper is just so cute and perfect for the picture of my daughter with her permit!
For the title I used Girl Squad Thickers.  Perfect way to add a quick title!
How about that car chipboard from Summer Fun...had to add it. I love the woodgrain from Crate Paper Cute Girl. The bright colors really pop against it.
Loved working with all these great products from The Paper Issues Store!  If you have these lines or are using some of the new stuff, make sure you check out our challenges on our Facebook page and share your layouts!!  You can also uses my code JANETD20 FOR 20% your entire order!

Swag Bag Spotlight

Welcome to my favorite challenge of the month.....Swag Bag Spotlight.  You can use any Swag Bag you have, a current Swag Bag or a mixture of them to participate.  Create a never  before seen project, upload it to our PIFF FB page, for a chance to win a prize to the Paper Issues Store
 Win Win!

I played along using the August Swag bag.

Our Design Team played along too. Mary Ann Jenkins created this stunning layout using a mixture of previous bags and a gorgeous background paper.  Loving how the light greens pop off the blue.

Anna Uhras is one of the most talented designers.  Love how she used August Swag Bag and stuck with very few colors and it works perfectly!

Cassie  Box hit it out of the park with this photo and this layout.  She loves to travel and her family has this board where they pin photos of where they have been.  Clever idea.  She used the August Swag Bag for this layout and it works perfect with the photo theme.

Bright, sunny and fun is by Kelly Feldman.  She used the July Swag Bag that was full of color and perfect for her selfies.

Amanda Baldwin's layout is bright too.  Look how she back the FREE Cut file with pieces of paper from the July Swag Bag.  It works terrifically and is very clever!

Lisa Swift's card is made from our June Swag Bag.  I just love how clean it is with the perfect sentiment.

Stacie Dietz went to the beach with her gorgeous layout.  She mostly used August SB but threw in a little June too.  It is pretty cool how they all can match each other.

Devra Hunt's boy loves his  dog.  All the embellishments are perfect for this display of affection.  She used mostly August but threw is some bits from the recent Traveler's Notebook kit.  FUN!

Don't forget to play along.  It is so fun.  You will see more inspiration from other Paper Issues Fans in the PIFF FB page.  Go grab your August Swag Bag before they run out!

Wander

Hi Paper Issues fans, it's Amy here to share my last layout as a design team member. I have loved every second I've been on this team, and I'd be lying if I didn't say it's super hard to leave. The PI design team is truly a family, and that makes saying goodbye that much harder. I am, however, excited to be on the Friends and Fans Facebook board and to work on some of the fun challenges!

For my last layout, I grabbed the Creekside collection to use for a cool photo I took of my littlest in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Although this line has a camping theme, I stretched it to cover sightseeing as well. I love to use lines in different ways than they were intended. Here's the layout I created.

I added some fun ephemera under my photo and journaling.

I added some more fun ephemera on the other side of the photo for balance.

I had to add some stitching to the words.

Thanks to Cassie for having me on her amazing design team!! Although I will miss posting on this blog, I am looking forward to being an awesome Paper Issues friend and FAN!

Scraplift Sunday

Well hey there! Happy Scraplift Sunday to you! That's right, it's not just Sunday around here! Today I have a simply fantastic page for you from the fabulous Mary Ann Jenkins. This layout can be found in our August Scrap Soup challenge. This layout is delightful! It's so full of photos and fun embellishments! Oh we had so much fun with this one!

I played along again this week, because well, multi photos and new PinkFresh! I love the design of almost a grid but not really. I used more photos, arranging them differently. The sentiments in the Escape the Ordinary reminded me how I felt when I first walked onto that campus! You can find more info on my blog too.

I spy some new AmyTangerine on Kelly's layout! Wow, how cool does the neutral side of Hustle and Heart look here! The pops of color from the ephemera and mini bows are really all this needs. my favorite part about this pages how she clustered everything together. Oh, and pancakes too!

Oh, yeah, time to strike a pose! Rachel went a little Vogue with this one. These black and white photos look divine all dolled up by Pebbles Girl Squad! I love that this collection is really for all ages.

Anna made this design her own using only one photos. But wow how she used that Maggie Holmes Carousel to fill the page in her signature style.

I love that Mary Ann played along lifting herself.  I'm always amazed at how different papers and slight tweaks in design can give a page an entirely different look, as he has done here with One Canoe Two Creekside

Well, there you have it. You know the drill. It's your turn now! Take a break, grab some supplies and go play! Share what you've made with us in our Facebook Group. You can find fun chatter and all the Challenges in the August album

Soak Up The Sun - Fancy Pants Designs Hello Sunshine

Hello Paper Issues friends! Marcia here today with some summer layout inspiration using the fun Fancy Pants Designs Hello Sunshine collection and a FREE digital cut file from the Paper Issues store. I love how bright and colorful the Hello Sunshine collection is. It's perfect for lots of summer photos including those beach pictures. I combined it with the FREE Sunburst Background and came up with this...

I did a lot of machine stitching on those sun's rays! I love the look of the white on white and with the ink splatters, it still feels like sunshine. I grounded my photo and embellishments using a strip of pattern paper.  All those fun tags and die cuts on both sides of my photo frame it so well. I especially love that flamingo!! Check out the detailed shots...

Here is the cut file I used today ...
 Sunburst Background

Family Pocket Page with Maggie Holmes' Carousel

Hello!  Kristie, your Paper Issues pocket page gal, here!  Today I am sharing with you the title page in my second album for 2017.  I'm so, so happy that I am nearly up to date with my weekly spreads.  You know what really helps motivate me to keep up to date!?  Pretty product!

When I first saw Maggie Holmes' Carousel I fell in love INSTANTLY!  The colors, the bows, the designs. Need I say more?

As always, Maggie Holmes' collections have a ton of interesting and unique pieces.  I just can't help but get them all.  I used one of the cards from the card package as a base for my title card.  I layered a floral chipboard piece, some gorgeous gold Thickers and a puffy sticker to finish it all off.

There are some seriously gorgeous pieces of ephemera in the die cut pack!  I absolutely love the sentiments, hearts and cameras throughout.  This collection also has some adorable fair and circus themes as well.

The gold Thickers in this collections are absolutely PERFECT!  The package comes with quite a few of each letter and they are small enough to add to photos or cards in your pocket pages.

Also, can we just talk about these bows!  I want to put them on everything!  You just can't go wrong with a black and white bow.  I may just try to make my own!!

Thank you for looking!  Thank you for all your support these last twelve months.  It's been an absolute dream come true to be apart of the greatest design team for the best scrapbooking store around.  This will be my last blog post as a Paper Issues Design Team member but you will still see me around lots as I participate in the challenges over on the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook group - especially my favorites Take 5 and Scrap Soup!  If you'd like to keep up to date with my creative process you can always follow me on Instagram and on YouTube.
